The fight for Constitutional Carry in Idaho began with the founding of the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance on August 21, 2012.

From that day forward, the ISAA began pushing Constitutional Carry by gathering signatures, introducing legislation, marching, rallying, and holding elected officials accountable. ISAA members went “all in” to push Constitutional Carry.

After passing the original bill in 2016, the ISAA continued to push for full Constitutional Carry by expanding it in 2019 (lowered age limit to 18) and then in 2020 by expanding it to include all Americans.
