At the State Freedom Caucus Network Summit during the Chairman’s press conference, one of the members of the press asked a question about supporting the Trump DOJ’s position on banning firearm possession from Transgender people.  In response, Idaho’s Senator Christy Zito (R – Mtn. Home), stepped up to the microphone and made her position clear: gun control is not the solution, and the Second Amendment must be protected.

The Idaho Second Amendment Alliance supports this position with unwavering commitment.  No class of people should be prohibited from the possession of a firearm.  The law is clear. 

We are guaranteed the presumption of innocence until proven guilty.

The Idaho Second Amendment Alliance accepts nothing less than the full protection of the Second Amendment and we stand firm in this position.
