Anti-Gun Charges Dropped Against NFL Player

Charges have been dropped against an NFL player who was arrested for having firearms that the state of California deemed scary.

Last week, Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman was on his way to the gun range when he was pulled over by police. The reason for the initial stop was for vehicle-related violations.

After Perryman was pulled over, police found several AR-15s in his trunk and a handgun.

Of course, those scary AR-15s are banned in California, and Perryman was subsequently arrested and charged with a felony. He didn’t hurt anyone, but was simply exercising his Second Amendment rights.

Thankfully, Perryman’s legal team appears to have gotten him out, and the charges have been dropped after the district attorney refused to prosecute, according to the NFL.
