For the first time ever, the Gun Rights Policy Conference was close enough to Idaho that going wasn’t cost-prohibitive.
The Second Amendment Foundation puts on the GRPC and is one of the largest gatherings for gun rights activists in the country. Having it in Salt Lake City for 2025 allowed me to attend the conference in person.
And I am thrilled I attended!
Not only did I learn some new issues coming our way from some great Second Amendment attorneys, but I also made incredible connections that I can hopefully use to benefit Idaho’s gun owners. The connections I made made the trip all worth it.
For instance, I had the chance to meet John Lott from the Crime Research Prevention Center. Mr. Lott has done incredible work for Americans for decades.

I also met Jared from Guns & Gadgets. His YouTube channel has over 700,000 subscribers. Jared brings Americans daily news updates on Second Amendment issues.

I also had the opportunity to meet Mark Smith from Four Boxes Diner and the famed Massad Ayoob. Ayoob is now the President of the Second Amendment Foundation.
That’s just a few of the incredible folks I met at GRPC.
I highly recommend that everyone attend the conference at least once in their lifetime. There were many incredible speakers, ranging from attorneys who fight in the courts to activists who fight on the ground.
Additionally, if you missed my video where I went and interviewed a few folks across the street from us at a comic book convention, you might be surprised by the answers I got!
