Idaho Second Amendment Alliance President Greg Pruett sat down with State Representative Clint Hostetler (R–Twin Falls) for a wide‑ranging conversation covering guns, the Twin Falls In‑N‑Out tragedy, abortion, and several other issues Idahoans are watching closely.
Hostetler is running for re‑election this November, seeking a second term in the Idaho House. He is widely regarded as one of the most conservative lawmakers in the Legislature, consistently aligning with pro‑gun and pro‑liberty voters.
This fall, Hostetler faces a so‑called Independent challenger, a label that doesn’t match reality. Much like U.S. Senate candidate Todd Achilles, Hostetler’s opponent Kevin Moxley is a Democrat who switched his affiliation and adopted the independent banner in an effort to appear non‑partisan to voters. The strategy is becoming increasingly common among Democrats attempting to win in conservative districts.
Whether that tactic will succeed is something voters will decide in November.
