A group of close friends of Christopher “Toph” Claunch are launching a memorial golf tournament in his honor, with all proceeds going directly to charity.
Toph was one of the three victims tragically killed in the Twin Falls In‑N‑Out shooting. From our own conversations with those who knew him best, one thing is clear: Toph was deeply loved, deeply respected, and deeply committed to lifting others up. He was known as a steady, encouraging presence in the community, especially among those fighting to overcome addiction.
Toph had fought his own battles and won. His life was transformed through the work of the Renaissance Ranch, and he later poured himself into helping others find the same hope he had found. Friends describe him as someone who never hesitated to show up, step in, and support anyone who needed a hand.
To honor that legacy, the Christopher “Toph” Claunch Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on September 20, 2026, at Canyon Springs Golf Course, beginning at 9:00 a.m. MT.
In‑N‑Out is serving as a corporate sponsor for the event. While the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance is not an official sponsor, we are proud to support this incredible effort and encourage anyone who is able to participate to do so. This tournament is more than a day of golf; it’s a tribute to a man who spent his life helping others, and a chance for Idahoans to stand together in his honor.
