The Senate State Affairs Committee, and Chairman Jim Guthrie (R-Inkom) are holding up HB 415, a step in the right direction to protecting our schools.
Sadly, the Chairman decided instead to push a school carry bill that was so bad that all of the gun grabbers supported it! Even longtime gun control advocate Sen. Wintrow (D-Boise) voted in favor of the bill.
Thankfully the bill was pulled by the committee by a narrow vote of 5 to 4.
Now is the time to move on HB 415 and get back to legislation that will help protect kids. Take action today by telling the committee to hold a hearing on HB 415!
